The Whiterun Imperial Camp

Whiterun Imperial Camp is a small Imperial camp to the east of Rorikstead.

The commanding officer of this camp is Legate Quentin Cipius.

Unlike other military camps you will never be welcome here as it will only exist if the Stormcloaks have taken Whiterun in battle. The soldiers will draw their weapons and tell you to leave when you approach the camp. If you linger for too long, they will attack you. Like most military encampments that only appear once a hold has changed hands, there is no quartermaster.

Whiterun Imperial Camp[edit]

There are six soldiers in addition to the Legate and wounded. They are all armed with imperial bows and swords and all wear complete sets of imperial light armor. The camp is situated around a central campfire on the banks of a shallow pond. There is a cooking spit over the campfire, with an anvil and grindstone beside it. To the north is the command tent containing a large wooden table covered with a tactical map of Skyrim showing the progress of the civil war. There is also an end table in the corner. Legate Quentin Cipius spends most of his time here studying the map. There are a row of three small tents to the right of this each containing a bed roll. South of these is the commander's quarters containing an owned single bed with an unlocked chest at the foot of it and an end table beside it. To the right of the tent is a workbench and further right is a hospital tent containing three bed rolls occupied by wounded soldiers and a low table holding two random potions of healing. Where the sick and injured are treated. Outside to the right is a table with a built-in alchemy lab and behind this are some barrels.

Bugs[edit]

  • At the very beginning of the game, Quentin Cipius spawns where the camp is supposed to be, standing in the wilderness. If you join the Stormcloaks and take over Whiterun, the camp will be set up and Quentin will find a purpose in the wilderness. However, if you side with the Imperials and defend Whiterun, Quentin will show up in Dragonsreach and the camp will never be built. Oddly, a duplicate of Quentin will still exist in the wilderness, even if Quentin is in Dragonsreach.
