Rift Stormcloak Camp
The camp is well concealed and at the end of a draw, allowing only one path leading up to the camp from the southwest. If you have completed Joining the Legion, the Stormcloak soldiers will inform you that "You're not welcome here" and warn you to leave. However if you have not completed Joining the Legion or are aligned with the Stormcloaks you will be able to trade with the quartermaster, who buys and sells weapons, armor, ores and ingots. You will also be able to use any of the hay piles in the three small tents around the camp to sleep on.
In addition to the small tents, the camp consists of a central campfire with a cooking spit hanging over it and an anvil and grindstone beside it. A hospital tent is to the south of the fire with an alchemy lab immediately to the right. Inside, in addition to three hay piles occupied by injured or sick Stormcloaks, is a low table with a random healing and health potion on top and an unlocked chest containing items to treat the sick or injured, including bottles of cure poison, leather strips, potions of cure disease, several strengths of healing potion among others. To the left is the command tent with a table in the middle and a tactical map of Skyrim on top showing any progress of the civil war. The commander, either Gonnar Oath-Giver or Galmar Stone-Fist, will spend most of their time studying this map.
West of the campfire is a workbench with a long wooden table behind, with a selection of iron and steel weapons and armor, all of which are owned. None of the items are included in the quartermaster's merchandise, so the only way to possess these items is through theft. Northwest of the fire is a wood chopping block. Finally northeast of the campfire is the commander's quarter which is a large tent containing an owned bed roll, an end table and an unlocked chest.
- The quartermaster may be missing or tagged as a normal soldier even though he spends his time using the anvil, etc. this means you are unable to buy or sell items at this camp as he lacks the speech options.
