Hod and Gerdur's House[edit]

Cooking and dining area

Hod and Gerdur's house is laid out in an L-shape, with the front door entering to an open cooking and dining area along one side of the "L", and a bar and the bedroom areas situated on the other. None of the areas are separated by walls or doors. To the left of the door as you come in is a dining table set with two loaves and one piece of bread, some sliced goat cheese, a bottle of wine, and two bottles of alto wine. North of the table, a respawning food barrel sits in the corner. A goat cheese wheel sits atop another respawning food barrel to the left of the fireplace, which is directly across from the front door. The fireplace mantel holds three gold coins, while a cooking pot sits at its base. A kettle containing four potatoes rests on the floor to the right, next to a large table holding two more potatoes, a garlic bulb, three servings of seared slaughterfish, some sliced eidar cheese, three loaves of bread, three chicken's eggs, a head of cabbage, and a leek. Above the table are some hanging ingredients, including dried frost mirriam, two garlic braids, and two portions of dried elves ear. Next to these hanging ingredients are two hanging racks, one of which holds two freshly caught rabbits while the other holds two pheasants. Two bottles of alto wine and three bottles of wine can be found on the bottom of a set of shelves to the right. A non-respawning cupboard across from the food table holds various kitchenware on its shelves, along with a salt pile and one sample of troll fat at the top.

Bar and bedroom area

The first bedroom area of the home starts with a single bed in the southwest corner, resting between a non-respawning dresser on one side and a non-respawning end table on the other. A respawning chest sits atop the dresser, along with a copy of Olaf and the Dragon, and a steel dagger rests on the end table. The next area of the home includes the bar, atop which sit one bottle each of wine and alto wine, four bottles of Nord mead, two wedges of goat cheese, and some sliced goat cheese. Behind the bar is a respawning food barrel, as well as an empty petty soul gem on the bottom shelf. Across from the bar is a small round table with two bottles of Nord mead. The final bedroom area can be found past the bar, in the northwest part of the home. A double bed sits at the middle of the wall, flanked by a non-respawning end table on either side and with a non-respawning chest at the foot of the bed. The left end table holds a farm hat, a potion of haggling, and a copy of Of Fjori and Holgeir, while the right one holds a basket and four gold coins. A pair of farm boots sits on the floor in the left corner, in front of a medium-sized coin purse. An iron war axe is stashed beneath the bed on the left side. Along the left wall is a non-respawning wardrobe, atop which lie a sabre cat pelt and a belted tunic, and along the right wall is a single respawning food barrel.

Notes[edit]

  • The front door has a novice-level lock, the key to which is carried by Frodnar, Gerdur, and Hod. You will obtain a copy of the key if you followed Ralof during Unbound.
