Friends alive or dead?

When I did this quest, I was under the impression that many of the friends from the final battle died (or at least disappeared). Darien Gautier disappears for sure, because that's what Gabrielle Benele says after the battle. In addition, Meridia (or maybe King Dynar, don't remember) says that she doesn't know what became of those who were not hidden behind her shield. It's really hard to tell who is dead and who isn't, because even after the last battle the vicinity of the Hollow City is filled with the "past versions" of many of these NPCs, including an alive King Dynar. Can anyone who did this quest recently or is about to do it check this out? --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 03:18, 4 November 2014 (GMT)

There's no obvious answer to that because, as you say, the Hollow City is still set in a past version. None of the other people from this quest are referenced at all afterwards. I would suggest sending in a /feedback to at least suggest they address the fact that participants in the battle should no longer have pre-battle dialogue, and they should remove the people who are supposed to be dead or missing. --Enodoc (talk) 09:39, 4 November 2014 (GMT)

Is there an actual MAP of the Library Area?

The official map is very bad--just a bunch of brown blocks with four white squiggles to indicate the cold flames. There are no markers for the tubes, and no indications of paths or the physical borders of the floating islands. I just want to get through the area, but I don't know where anything is and I'm afraid of falling, dying pointlessly, and then spending hours getting lost and trying to find my way back to the point at which my character fell...just to have the same thing repeat. I don't want to quit, but I do want to get through the area--and I don't know how to do that.

Also, could we please get a more detailed description of what to do in the Library Area and how to do it? Gehayi (talk) 03:48, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
