Quest Giver[edit]

Okay, I just got infected with Vampirism and there is no NPC to start the quest anymore? It's started by a scroll found at the Vampire altars. Can anyone verify this please? Or am I just going mad? Howellq (talk) 04:37, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Can't verify right now, but it should always have been both. Primarily, the NPC in the city if you're infected by an NPC in the world, and the scroll if you're infected by a player at the altar. --Enodoc (talk) 09:41, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
I can verify this. If you are bitten by a player at a shrine you need to go to a Vampiric Shrine to find the scroll and must be level 38. If you are bitten by a bloodfiend or vampire NPC then you need to see Vorundil to start the quest. I suggest we update the "Quest Giver: Vorundil" to include the scroll also. It took me quite sometime to figure out that Vorundil was not going to show up for me. Goblest (talk) 15:40, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

Greymoor Changes[edit]

the quest has changed slightly with the changes to vampireism in the Greymoor chapter. I will get to it eventually if nobody else does but im currently busy with Vvardenfell walkthroughs. — Unsigned comment by Retroambassador (talkcontribs) at 03:14 on 27 July 2020

No problem! Feel free to take your time and finish what you've got on your plate; people have been working on the differences between Old ESO and Greymoor, but if you feel like comparing your screenshots to what's on the page, do so at your leisure. Props to you for working on all those quest pages! Especially the ones on Vvardenfell. I did a few of those, but haven't been able to bring myself to write many in that zone. I'm thankful that you're taking the time to work on them! -MolagBallet (talk) 03:24, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
