Votary of Velidreth

The Votary of Velidreth is a giant spider found in the Cradle of Shadows. It is the dungeon's second miniboss.

Skills and Abilities

Bite

A basic attack that does moderate physical damage. If taunted the boss will be forced to use this attack on the tank only.

Spew Venom

The boss places multiple poison pools on top of a player as indicated by red circles. This always lands on the player's location and thus the player should avoid standing near their allies to prevent the poison from hitting multiple people at once.

Summon Votary's Broodlings^{[verification needed]}

The boss summons four Votary's Broodlings to attack the party. These adds will also immobilize a player when they spawn, and this can be countered by roll dodging. The party should kill these adds quickly to simplify the fight.

Grappling Strands^{[verification needed]}

The boss pulls everyone in front of itself inwards towards itself using webs.

Webspinner's Wrath

Immediately after Grappling Strands, the boss releases a burst of magic around itself as indicated by a large red circle. This does massive damage and should be avoided at all costs even by the tank.

Consume^{[verification needed]}

If any corpses are lying around, either from players or adds dying, the boss will rush over to eat it and regain health. This move heals the boss for a very large amount over time and should be interrupted quickly to shorten the fight.

	Exterminator	50	Defeat Sithera, Khephidaen the Spiderkith, the Votary of Velidreth, Dranos Velador, and Velidreth the Lady of Lace in Veteran Cradle of Shadows within 30 minutes of starting the dungeon. Timer starts on entering the initial caverns.
	Beacon in the Night	50	Defeat Sithera, Khephidaen the Spiderkith, the Votary of Velidreth, Dranos Velador, and Velidreth the Lady of Lace in Veteran Cradle of Shadows without suffering a group member death.
	Cradle of Shadows Vanquisher	10	Defeat Sithera, Khephidaen the Spiderkith, the Votary of Velidreth, Dranos Velador, and Velidreth the Lady of Lace in the Cradle of Shadows.
