Iroda has riddles for you...

Iroda, a member of the Thane's household, proctors the Trial of the Mind. She's going to pose riddles to me. I need to seek out the answers to each on the island, then return to her.

As you approach, Iroda will have her nose buried in a book, muttering to herself. Speak with her to begin the quest.

"And that was the last time Geirmund was ever seen.
Oh. Yes?"

I'm here to do the Trial of the Mind.

"Ahh, yes. Like the skalds of old, this will be a trial of riddles and rhymes.
I tell you the riddle. The answer to each can be found around the island. You find it, place it in this sack, and bring it to me. Got it?"

Go ahead.

The First Riddle

Iroda gives you a riddle, prompting you to return with the answer:

"I hold your twin within my face.
I whirl your world around.

In me you see what others see.
In me the truth is found."

Keema-Ta calls out to you as you leave the tent. Speaking with him is optional. He offers to give you the answer to this riddle: you can either intimidate him or pay a low sum of money for the answer (around 62 gold).

The First Answer

Whether you decide to ask Keema-Ta for help or not, the correct answer is "a mirror". Go to the paved road, take a right then a left and you'll see a barn. The mirror is inside on the left. Return to Iroda with the mirror, and she'll give you the second riddle.

The Second Riddle

"I float in the sky, I cover the land.
I can carry your weight or slip through your hand."

On your way out, Keema-Ta whispers at you again. The procedure here is the same as before, and entirely optional: you can intimidate Keema-Ta for the answer or pay him to give it to you. The second answer will cost around 324 gold. Alternatively, you can solve it yourself.

The Second Answer

The answer to the second riddle is "water". There's a bag nearby: head on down to the lake and fill it with water, then bring it to Iroda for your third riddle. Go to the lake and use the bag as prompted. Return to Iroda.

The Third Riddle

"Where are the oceans dry, the mountains flat, and the sky can never be seen?"

Keema-Ta once again prompts you to speak with him. As usual, you can shake him up or pay him. You're using a walkthrough, so you won't need to ask him, but the option is there.

The Third Answer

The answer is "a map". Go to the paved road turn left and go to the building where you did the drinking contest. A map of Cyrodiil is hanging on the wall. Return it to Iroda.

"Last one! What's the answer?"

A map.

"Yes, that's it! Well done indeed. I'll pass the word to Vofknir at once.
Now, if you'll excuse me."

Iroda rewards you for completing the trial and returns to her book.

Bugs

• Keema-Ta can continue to be either paid or intimidated for the riddle answers even after doing it once already and adding the answer to the quest log hints. ^?
