The Plot Thickens is awarded during the main story in the High Isle chapter for completing the Deadly Investigations quest. Earning this achievement allows purchasing Gonfalon Bay Banner (page) for your house. It costs 12,000 and can be purchased from Jeran Antieve in Gonfalon Bay.
