The gro-Morkul family sword
I found the abandoned journal of Dulza, an Orc merchant who somehow entered the Clockwork City during a fierce storm in Craglorn. Her greatest regret is that her clan in Fell's Run will never see their ancestral sword again.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Find and read Dulza's log in the wilderness of the Clockwork City.
  2. Take the gro-Morkul family sword from the ground.
  3. Find the descendants of the sword's original owner in Rivenspire.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Notes[edit]

  • You cannot start this quest before completing To The Clockwork City. The journal is readable, but there is no quest marker, and it isn't possible to interact with the sword.
  • Though there is a Morkul clan in Wrothgar, in the Orsinium DLC (which existed before the Clockwork City did), taking the sword to any one of them as an alternative solution doesn't work (after all, if this were the solution it would be inaccessible to people without the Orsinium DLC) - it has to go to their representative in Fell's Run, in base-game Rivenspire, where the late Dulza gra-Morkul had settled.

Quest Stages[edit]

The Merchant's Heirloom
Finishes Quest Journal Entry
An Orcish sword remains upright in the sand, even after all this time. This may be the heirloom sword of Dulza's clan, gro-Morkul of Fell's Run. If I bring it to one of her descendants in Rivenspire, they may reward me.
Objective: Take gro-Morkul Family Sword
I retrieved the gro-Morkul family sword. If I bring it to Rivenspire and return the sword to one of Dulza's descendants in Fell's Run, they may reward me.
Objective: Find a gro-Morkul Descendant
I located a descendant of Dulza. I should speak with him about his ancestor and the sword I found.
Objective: Talk to Ghakorz gro-Morkul
Finishes quest☑ I met Dulza's nephew, Ghakorz gro-Morkul. I returned his clan's ancestral sword. I should discuss a reward with him.
Objective: Talk to Ghakorz gro-Morkul
Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
