Though the Thalmor fleet manifest had been destroyed, the Maormer still hold Captain Seritenya captive at Jode's Pocket.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to First Mate Valion.
  2. Meet the Thalmor Striker at Ogrim's Yawn.
  3. Kill Arch-Wizard Sameht and destroy the Animus Geode.
  4. Talk to Captain Seritenya.
  5. Leave the cave.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

  • The Captain is not just an ordinary prisoner, and foul sorcery is being involved in her interrogation. She has been taken into a cave by Admiral Sameht, captain of this Maormer fleet. The lower entrance to the cave is up a short slope from the beach, and you will have one Fist of Thalmor soldier to help you as you fight your way through the Sea Vipers to reach the boss.
  • Sameht is a tough but manageable mini-boss. After killing him, shatter the Animus Geode which has been stripping away the captain's memories, and escape through the cave's other entrance, which leads to slightly higher ground.
  • Valion and the rest of the crew have secured the exit. Unfortunately, not all of the crew members you rescued earlier survived the battle, a couple of their bodies are on the ground. Talk to the captain to receive your reward, after which they will decide that their best option is to make their way overland to Vulkwasten and reach Velyn Harbor by road from there.

Notes[edit]

  • Arch-Wizard Sameht and Captain Seritenya won't exist in the cave before starting the quest or reaching the related objective.
  • While the Fists of Thalmor striker follower says he'll follow you shortly, once you have defeated the Arch-Wizard, he will still continue to follow you right away.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
