Temple of the Divines

The Temple of the Divines is a new tower constructed in Castle Dour within Solitude. The temple is inaccessible until the related quest is started.

During Greymoor Rising, you will enter the temple through the tunnel in the Undercroft which leads to Greymoor Keep. You will learn that the Gray Host was able to enter the city through these tunnels. There is a cage full of hostile harrowfiends in the tunnel, waiting to be unleashed upon the streets of Solitude. Skavengers scuttle throughout the tunnels. The temple is filled with Harrowfiends.

The shrines in the temple are all intact, save for the one dedicated to Arkay, which has been knocked to the ground and desecrated. A statuette of Molag Bal surrounded by vampiric paraphernalia sits upon the pedestal in its place. The candles around the shrines to the Divines have all been snuffed; the newer Daedric shrine is the only one whose candles are lit. A ladder and a painting of Rada al-Saran are leaning against the eastern wall, suggesting the vampires intended to hang it at some point.
