Rugrol

Rugrol is an Orc priest of Azura who can be found within the Great Chapel of Zenithar in Leyawiin. He wishes to destroy the eggs belonging to some of Nocturnal's Crow Daedra. He is in direct opposition to Allereth, a Bosmer assassin who reveres Nocturnal and wishes for the eggs to be saved.

Quest-Related Events

After accepting the quest, you can speak with him regarding his request:

"Azura be with you, traveler. If you have business with me, I ask that you make it quick. I have many things on my mind."

Deetum-Jas ‎gave me the job concerning the crow eggs.

"Ah, those foul things. I am glad Deetum-Jas was able to find someone interested. I do not know if the crows are still present inside the ruin, but I am sure if they are not, their eggs remain.
You must have questions. Please, ask away."

Why do you want the eggs destroyed?

"Crows are Nocturnal's servants, and they aid her in her dark deeds. It may seem like a small thing, but when given the opportunity to strip her of her power, we must. Destroying these eggs means there will be less crows to do her bidding."

Where can I find these eggs?

"Last I saw, many crows gathered around Arpenia. Whether they remain is of no importance. There will still be many nests inside.
Look for secluded or elevated places where the eggs would be safe from harm. You'll have no trouble finding them."

After completing the task:

"You return. Did you have any luck in Arpenia? You do not look any worse for wear, which is a comfort.
Do you have the eggs?"

I found the crow eggs.

"Wonderful. Give them to me and I will see to it that they are destroyed. Nocturnal will not have these servants.
You have helped cleanse the world of her influence, even in just a small amount. I thank you."

You can stall to think about your decision:

Wait, I'm not sure they should be destroyed:

"Those eggs and the crows that hatch from them will bring nothing but grief and pain to the world. They are evil creatures, born for evil work!
You must give them to me so I can prevent them from harming anyone."

Or you can then give him the eggs:

Here. / Fine, Here you go.

"Thank you. Rest assured, I will destroy them immediately.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. You have done a great deed today. Please, speak to Deetum-Jas for your reward. I arranged everything with him."

If you talk to him again:

"Destruction is a harsh end to anything, but often necessary. Ridding the world of these eggs will no doubt save lives in the long run.
I hope you leave here in peace, knowing you made the right choice."

Once you destroy the eggs, what will you do?

"This is only a very small part of my work. The fight against Nocturnal's shadowy presence is one that persists. I will continue the fight in whatever way I can.
After I destroy these eggs, there is still much more to be done to keep her at bay."

If you instead gave the eggs to Allereth:

"I know I cannot alter your decision, but the choice you have made is truly a shame. No good will come of these eggs. Nocturnal commands death and shadow, and you have only invited more of that into the world."
