Ravam Drom is a Dark Elf mage-smith and member of the Saraathu Tong who can be found at the Guild Hall in Fargrave.

"Ha! Well, there was one beautiful day when Vares tried to use magic to make a nail ….
To answer your question, other blacksmiths incorporate magic into their work, but smithing through magic? Daedric metalworkers can't even levitate a feather!"

What about the mortal smiths?

"I'm fairly certain they think I'm a lunatic! But I got into the Tong using my own skills and talent. They didn't. I'm doing something right.
Don't worry, I have good memories of talking to the other Nirnborn smiths too."

What did you do?

"Why does everyone ask that question like I did something bad?
All I did was change the color of the metal they were working on! The green armor looked dashing. Really."

If you have done quests for the Saraathu Tong:

"You don't seem like a customer. Oh! Are you the experienced individual that's been hired to help me with my…issue? Let's take a look at you.
Whew! The Tong only goes in for the best, I see."

Vaveli hired me to kill the Unmaker and gather Daedric equipment for you.

"Wonderful! When my shipment of goods got waylaid, I wasn't sure what I'd do. Daedra in Fargrave get a mite tetchy about selling their goods to mortals. If Vaveli couldn't find a willing adventurer, I was going to have to ask the Gleaners to help."

Do you have any advice for fighting the Unmaker?

"I've never gone up against the beast itself, but the Xivilai who say not to let it touch you. That might've been a joke.
Best advice I can think of? Don't underestimate this thing. It's a fearsome fetcher."

Speaking to him after fighting the Unmaker and before turning in the quest:

"My friend, you've returned! And in one piece too.
How was facing the Unmaker? I'll bet it was no problem for you."

The Unmaker is dead and I brought back Daedric Armor.

"Was it in good shape? No. Don't tell me, I'll just wrap up here and check with Vaveli myself. Go to her and collect your well-deserved reward my friend.
