You'll find out there is a secret meeting between Nerandas and one of Savarak Fels' subordinates. You'll impersonate the subordinate and meet with him instead on his boat at the docks:

"It's about fetching time. Well?"

The cliff racer takes wing.

If you speak to him again, he'll say:

The next time you meet him, he'll be in is lair deep within Pinsun. He'll know your not one of Savarak's people and will attack on sight:
