As you're leaving the mine, an injured orc will stop you:

Namoroth: "You, outsider! Bandits broke into the village!"

He'll ask you to help with the defense of the village:

"Bandits rushed the gates and scaled the walls. There's not enough of us to drive them back!"

Are you all right?

"Broken arm, it's nothing.
Stand with us. Drive these bandits into the mud!"

Before you deal with the bandits:

After you drive off the bandits:

The Enemy Within
