Blindsided[edit]

If you haven't started the quest and approach her at the south camp near the fort:

"Are you here to help?"

If you're starting the quest with her instead of Captain Hamar, she'll ask:

"Did Captain Hamar send you? Are you our support?"

If you completed Sounds of Alarm, she will be leading a group to retake the barracks from the Stormfists when you are freeing captured soldiers:

"Thanks for coming. We could have used you sooner, but there's no point dwelling on what might have been."
What's going on here?
"We're half of what's left of Fort Morvunskar's garrison. The other half is at Captain Hamar's camp on the other side of the fort.
They hit us hard from out of nowhere and forced us to abandon the fort."
Who attacked the fort?
"Nords, if you can believe it. They bear the markings of the Stormfist clan, and they captured a few of our soldiers during the battle.
If you can set the soldiers free, we can try to take back the barracks. Rendezvous with me there."
I'll meet you at the barracks after I free the captured soldiers.

You can ask questions about the fort:

"Good luck freeing our soldiers. I'll meet you and the soldiers at the barracks when you're finished."
I have some questions, Lieutenant.
"Anything to help with your mission, but be quick. I need to move out soon."
What's so special about Fort Morvunskar?
"Seriously? Not much. It holds very little military value. For the most part, the place was built over the royal crypts to protect them from vandals and thieves.
The kings and queens of Skyrim are buried here, including our beloved Queen Nurnhilde."
Who are the Stormfists and how did they capture your fort?
"The Stormfist clan supported the traitor Fildgor when he tried to take the crown from Jorunn. We haven't seen them in almost a decade.
As for the how, well, one moment they weren't here and the next we were surrounded. I suspect foul magic."
How do you plan to retake the fort?
"My plan is to sneak into the barracks and kill the invaders' leader, Halskar. Meanwhile, Captain Hamar waits for soldiers to arrive from Windhelm.
If I can take out their leader, the reinforcements shouldn't have any trouble taking back the fort."

Free the soldiers (either by her orders or Captain Hamar) and you will find her by the barracks with the freed soldiers. You will need to deal with the Stormfist commander and find the orders to know what are the invaders' plans:

"You rescued my soldiers. For that, you have my thanks."
Happy to help. What's next?
"We're ready to take back the barracks. I need you to deal with the invaders' commander, the Nord called Halskar.
Find his orders. We need to know what's going on. They should be someplace safe, not far from wherever you find the lout."
I'll deal with Halskar and find his orders.
"I had a feeling about you! Glad to see that I was right.
Now follow us!"

Speaking to her after dealing with Halskar:

"The barracks are clear. How did you fare against Halskar?"
Halskar's dead. I found these orders in a lockbox, along with these relics.
"Let me look at those orders.
I see. Those dogs came up through the crypts! That's how they surprised us. It says something here about their true prize being in the crypts below. I wonder what they could be after."

Sleep for the Dead[edit]

Continuing on from the previous conversation, you will need to go the royal tombs to returnt he relics while the soldiers work to retake the fort from the Stormfists:

"These orders make it sound like the Stormfists want something from inside the royal crypts.
And they were actually signed by Fildgor Orcthane! That means the Skald-King's traitorous brother has returned."
What can you tell me about the royal tombs?
"Just what I know. Skyrim's royal family and their honored servants are interred below. Well, the dead ones, anyway.
The fort was built to protect the crypts. There are precious relics, to be sure, but nothing to make these brigands risk so much."
These relics were in the box with Halskar's orders.
"Well, there you have it. Thievery and desecration. Still, these orders seem to imply there's more to it than that.
Perhaps you could go below, return these items, and make sure everything is all right. The entrance is behind this building."
I was heading in that direction, anyway.

You can mention seeing the ghost queen:

"Go on. Check out the crypts. We'll handle things up here."
Did you see that woman I was talking to?
"Woman? What woman? I saw you strike down Halskar, pull something from the lockbox, and then pause for a long moment.
I thought you were catching your breath up there."
A ghost appeared when I took possession of these relics.
"Well, they do say that the royal tombs are haunted. Soldiers tell stories of seeing and hearing strange things during night patrols.
Still, if a spirit spoke to you, those relics must be special. Did the spirit happen to give you a name?"
She claimed to be Queen Nurnhilde.
"Queen Nurnhilde? Our beloved Queen was struck down in battle against the Akaviri ten years ago.
I'd listen carefully to whatever Queen Nurnhilde said to you. You are truly blessed, my friend!"

Victory at Morvunskar[edit]

She will appear at the south gate of the fort after you finish speaking to Queen Nurnhilde. When you approach her:

"Thanks for your help."

She wants you to share the news of the victory to Thane Oda Wolf-Sister at Fort Amol:

"You did great work today. Thank you."
I'm glad I could help.
"With Fort Morvunskar back under our control, we should send word to the King. Let him know that the royal tombs are secure.
Will you deliver a dispatch to Fort Amol?"
The King has gone to Fort Amol?
"Yes. Reinforcements from Windhelm brought the news. The King has gone to Fort Amol to meet with Pact dignitaries.
Take word of our victory to the fort. Speak to Thane Oda Wolf-Sister there."
I'll head to Fort Amol as soon as I can.

You can ask her some questions about Fort Cradlecrush:

"We're going to get the fort up and running again. My scouts report that there are still Stormfist troops in the area."
Where did they see the Stormfist troops?
"My scouts report that the Stormfists are fortifying Cradlecrush, to the southwet. We can't let them establish a foothold or we'll never get rid of them."
What is Cradlecrush?
"It's an old Orc fortress, but it hasn't been used by hostile forces in years."
We should attack the Stormfists as soon as possible.
"If only we had the troops for such an action. We're in no condition for another battle right now, but I think we have time.
Something strange is going on over at Cradlecrush, but it doesn't appear that they're about to launch an attack or anything."
Strange? What do you mean?
"Unusual sounds. We hear crashes and moans, toppling trees. We see smoke on the horizon. I have no idea what to make of it and I can't spare anyone else to investigate right now."

If you completed The Siege of Cradlecrush, she will say:

"Thanks to your actions here and at Cradlecrush, we should have things back in order very soon."
