While searching for Selgaard's family members, you will find her in her cabin with two dead draugr. She will ask of the status of the rest of her family:

"You're walking, but you're not dead. You picked the wrong day to visit our camp, stranger."

Selgaard sent me. He's worried about his family.

"My husband Selgaard? Is he all right? Why isn't he with you?"

He was injured. He sent me to check the cabins.

"What of the others? Did you find my brother-in-law? My young cousin?"

If you found Kerthor and Agnedir before her:

Kerthor and Agnedir didn't make it.

"Kyne have mercy on my family"

Will you be all right?

"Don't worry about me. Save your concern for the next dead thing that walks through that door."

If you haven't found all family members yet:

So far, you're the only survivor I've come across.

"I pray that the others are safe. Tell Selsgaard I'm alive and still fighting."

Will you be all right?

"Tell Selgaard his wife waits for him. I will protect our home until he returns."

After defeating Valcent in the barrow, you can speak to her in her cabin before completing the quest:

"Selgaard made it home right after you left. Thank you for entering the barrow in his stead."

If spoken to after the quest, she will thank you:

"Thank you for helping us. I don't know what I'm going to tell Agnedir's sister."
