Harkskar

Harkskar is a Nord beggar seeking money outside the entrance to Everwound Wellspring.

Dialogue[edit]

Prior to completing the objective, he'll say one of three comments:

"Gold? A kind word? Anything for a poor wretch waiting for a share of the Everwound Wellspring's harvest?"
"Ah, another hopeful for the Wellspring. May the gears rotate in your favor, especially if you've got a gold piece to spare!"
"Is it harvest day? I think it is! Fresh vegetables instead of flavorless paste! Hopefully, this season someone will share their portion of the Wellspring's bounty with old Harkskar.
Hopefully …."

After the quest Oasis in a Metal Desert he'll have one of three comments:

"So, what did you find inside the Wellspring? Were the carrots as tall as mountains? Were the gorapples as big as bull netches?
You can tell me. Harkskar knows how to keep a secret!"
"If you have anything to spare, I'd gladly take it off your hands. We're so close to the Wellspring, but the harvest occurs so rarely."
"I heard that something terrible happened in the Wellspring? Does that mean the harvest will be delayed? Please, tell me they'll be fresh fruit and vegetables!
If I have to eat another bowl of flavorless paste, I might just scream!"

To which you can reply:

Wellspring?
"The Everwound Wellspring. The only place in all of Clockwork City where actual plants grow and blossom. It's a miracle, thank Sotha Sil! Or Lord Seht. Or whatever the crazy Dark Elf calls himself these days.
I hear the carrots are as tall as trees!"

You can choose to give him some gold,

Thanks for the information. Here's something to tide you over. [Leveled Gold]
"Such kindness! If you venture into the Wellspring, remember who told you about the giant carrots!"

or not:

Interesting. Is there anything else you can tell me?
"Only that it appears some people don't know how to show appreciation when presented with useful information."
