When you speak with her in the tavern when not on the quest:

If you have agreed to the task, you can talk to Hagra for background information:

"Tusking Skreg. He wouldn't last two swings against me if he fought fair."

I've been tasked with proving Skreg is a cheat and defeating him.

"Have you got an army with you? That's what it'll take. Skreg's got dozens of honorless bastards willing to beat, poison, or kill anyone who threatens him. I should know."

You fought Skreg?

"If you can call it that. Got waylaid by his round-toothed lackies heading into the Circle of Champions. Had two broken ribs, three smashed fingers, and a poisoned gut wound before I even raised a weapon to him."

You still fought him after all that?

"I made my challenge. Wasn't going to sully my honor by backing down and I damn well wasn't going to let that tusking cheat kill me. So here I am. Busted, but not broken. Hope you fare better."

I'll make sure Skreg gets what he deserves.

Speaking to her again before leaving:

"Don't try to beat Skreg at his own games. The Circle of Champions deserves better than that."

Speaking to her after defeating Skreg but before turning in the quest:

"Even if I never fight again, I can die happy knowing I outlived Skreg the Undefeatable."
