Long, long ago, for reasons most have forgotten, Clan Direnni left Summerset and relocated to Balfiera Isle in the Iliac Bay. Ownership of the clan's abandoned real estate above the Diren valley has been locked in Elvish litigation ever since.
Direnni Acropolis

Direnni Acropolis is an abandoned settlement in the northern part of Summerset. It is safeguarded by the Divine Prosecution to make sure that any suspicious activity (or creatures) in the ruins remains contained. A bailiff of the Prosecution tells you about the curse laid upon the estate and a ghost residing deep within the estate catacombs.

Quentin Rouillac the traveling merchant walks along the road between Russafeld and the acropolis with his dog, Duchess Fluffyface.

Notes[edit]

  • The maps for Direnni Acropolis were apparently originally intended for use with Karndar Watch, but were repurposed to here.
  • For more info about the prominent Direnni family, see the lore article.
  • In the garden, you'll find three large statues close to each other. There's a male with a sword and shield in heavy Altmer armor, a male archer in medium Altmer armor, and a female with a scroll, a staff and robes in Altmer style.
  • The interior contains a large number of lootable urns.
  • There is what appears to be a bottomless pit at the center of the stairs in the undercroft. Plunging its depths leads to character death. One can go to the ledge on the same level as the entrance to it with careful maneuvering, but going even one floor down will lead to instant death upon landing.
