Devouring a Mudcrab
Devour(WHILE YOU ARE IN WEREWOLF FORM) Allows you to devour corpses to increase the duration of your Werewolf Transformation and restore your Health. Every second you spend devouring a corpse adds 3 seconds to the duration of your Werewolf Transformation and restores 8% of your Max Health. Each corpse can be devoured for up to 4 seconds.

Devour allows you to stay in Werewolf form longer by devouring the corpses of your enemies. Devouring a corpse also restores a large amount of Health.

Notes[edit]

  • Devour actually works on beast corpses as well as humanoid corpses. Daedra cannot be devoured, even when they have a humanoid appearance, as Dremora do. NPC vampires and their thralls are considered undead and cannot be devoured. Some dro-m'Athra can be devoured.
  • You can only devour a corpse every few seconds, and feeding is interrupted by heavy and interrupting attacks in combat. This prevents you from remaining in werewolf form indefinitely by constantly killing and consuming weak enemies.

  • Fixed an issue where werewolves could use Devour on the same corpse multiple times.
  • We have removed the cooldown period for this ability. You can use Devour only once per corpse.
  • This ability can now be used on additional monster types, such as insects.
  • This ability's cooldown period has been reduced from 20 seconds to 7 seconds.
  • This ability will no longer be interrupted by taking damage.
  • Fixed an issue where this ability would appear to blink.
  • This ability can no longer target a destroyed Aura of Protection totem.
  • Synergies besides the Werewolf's own Devour will no longer be visible if you’re in Werewolf form.
  • This is now the first passive you unlock in the skill line, and is a free passive that does not require you to spend a skill point. Points already spent into this will be automatically refunded.
  • The devour corpse ability is now a 4-second channel, instead of a 4-second cast time. Every second you spend devouring a corpse increases your Werewolf timer and restores Health. Each corpse can be devoured for up to 4 seconds.
  • Updated the visual effects on enemy corpses that can be devoured.
  • Improved the targeting and reliability for devouring corpses.
  • Fixed an issue where Skill Points previously spent into this ability were not being refunded to you.
  • Different Werewolves can now devour the same corpse.
  • Corpses in the area with this ability active will now detonate a red glow, similar to other corpse consuming telegraphs.
  • You can now devour your friends to extend your Werewolf Transformation timer, since you are a selfish doggo.
  • Fixed an issue where Devour was not showing the interruptible telegraph to enemy players.
