Alderdon is a High Elf Clavicus Vile cultist who gets unceremoniously killed by his master, along with other worshipers, and his body is used as a vessel for Clavicus Vile to speak through.
When you arrive in the vaults during the related quest, you can see Alderdon beg for mercy with "Please, master! Mercy—arrgh!" before being killed.
