How[edit]

how do i cast restoration spells on companion? (89.5.37.101 06:58, 22 September 2008 (EDT))

See the list of spells here. You need to buy one of the existing Target spells (Convalescence, Greater Convalescence or Superior Convalescence) and cast it at your companion, or make your own Target or Touch spell at a spellmaking altar. –RpehTCE 07:06, 22 September 2008 (EDT)

On enchant?[edit]

I know it's not available for enchanting, but if I were to make an item of clothing in the CS with Restore Health on it, would it have the same effect as in Morrowind (perpetually restoring health)? I'd do it myself, but I don't have it on PC, so I don't have access to the CS. Flyingsandwich 05:00, 22 May 2009 (EDT)

Yes, it works. I only tried it with a timed heal, not with a one-shot heal, but it definitely works. One wonders why they never created a Ring of Regeneration in the game. <shrugs> --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 23:26, 28 May 2009 (EDT)

How To Restore Companion's Health?[edit]

I have inherited the companion Wintermoon after playing the Heart of the Dead mod but somewhere afterwards her strength, endurance and health were damaged. The restore health & restore endurance spells that I created worked, but I am unable to get her health back up from the damaged value of 637 to the initial level of 650. The restore target health 5 points for 5 seconds spell I created did not work  :-(

I know it is possible to enchant a ring or other item to fortify her health but how can the base health be restored back to its original value? Greenbandit 09:55, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Getting Different Numbers[edit]

When I use a Restore Health spell, my health does not increase by M x D. After playing with the numbers a little, I found out it actually increases by exactly int(0.95 x M) x D, regardless of my Restoration skill. I'm not sure where the 0.95 factor came from.

Well, I just found out this multiplier also applies to damaging spells, and I can't find any information that will tell me where the 0.95 came from. 96.240.176.246 07:02, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

I finally found out where this came from... something called Spell Effectiveness. I think this information should be listed in more than one page, preferably in every page that involves spells. 96.240.176.246 22:18, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Healing Allies[edit]

Does the restore health effect with Convalescence type spells stack if cast in quick succession, or does it simply refresh the spell timer? Crayolamanic (talk) 01:01, 14 November 2013 (GMT)
