Benefits[edit]

The fancy title is the only benefit: Not True. You also get the set of armor. 12.26.69.6 12:42, 25 April 2008 (EDT)

I'm responding to this topic because changes have been made to the page recently that reflect this statement. From a technical standpoint, the fancy title is the only benefit, but from an in-game perspective, distinguishing faction membership from the other benefits is a bit murkier. To get down to specifics, Chancellor Ocato says, "In my capacity as Lord High Chancellor of the Elder Council, I hereby proclaim you Champion of Cyrodiil! And, as a small token of gratitude for your service to the Empire, I have ordered a suit of Imperial Dragon armor made for you." This could be read strictly as being for your service to the Empire, but given that it's said on the heels of your appointment, it could just as easily be argued to be a benefit of that appointment. I'm open to either interpretation, so I think it's fair to leave the edits as they stand, pending any other opinions on the matter. Robin Hoodtalk 18:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
It also grands the player access to the Imperial Armory. --Rigas Papadopoulos Talk 11:10, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

why only Cyrodiil?[edit]

Why would you only be named the Champion of Cyrodiil when what you really did was save all of Tamriel from the Oblivion Invasion? Why wouldn't you be named the Champion of Tamriel? 67.149.82.204 17:56, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Any response to this would be speculation, so you're probably better asking in a forum. Robin Hoodtalk 18:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
