Varla Stone Triggers[edit]

Access to the Varla Stones is triggered remotely (but, where are the remote triggers?) There are beacons (Welkynd Stones?) out in the waters that seem to be part of the key. — Unsigned comment by 24.113.112.130 (talk) at 05:52 on 7 October 2007‎

If you look at the map you'll see two light blue dots near to the cages (at points V). Those are buttons that open the cages. --RpehTalk 02:13, 7 October 2007 (EDT)

Incorrect information about quest-relation[edit]

In the description it claims Nenyond Twyll is quest-related. I changed it to "Quest specific" as the door to the ruin is only opened during stage 10 of the quest "Liberation or apprehension?" Yoblivio 15:34, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

We reserve "specific" for locations that are only visited during a quest, such as Paradise, the Dreamworld or Gweden Farm. Yes the door only opens at the start of the quest, but it remains open afterwards, thus "related" is correct. rpeh •TCE 15:46, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh sorry - thanks for clearing that up. Yoblivio 19:03, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Nenyond Twyll Ayleid Statue?[edit]

So the Wiki for this place said that there are no enemies triggered until you pick up an Ayleid Statue at the end. Firstly I do remember this happening but not in this ruin. Here you run into Necromancers and the Wiki even said it's impossible to enter before starting the quest. So did the writer of that Wiki added info of a totally unrelated dungeon to this one? Another clue to this being the case, and thus the Wiki has false info, is that a second Wiki about Nenyond Twyll does not mention an Ayleid Statue. — Unsigned comment by 184.61.241.116 (talk) at 19:54 on 15 May 2018‎

Your roundabout way of not mentioning "the other wiki" made it hard to discern which one you were saying was wrong. In any case it is "the other place" that is totally wrong. It appears that the writer probably confused this location with Ninendava, one of the actual places with an Ayleid Statue. This can be seen by the fact that their quest article, and ours, lists only the correct locations for the statues, and not this place. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:11, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
I figured it would be easy to find the 2 Wikis as they were the top 2 results. My bad I suppose. ^^; The other Wiki was http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Nenyond_Twyll and funnily there's a 3rd mentioning the statue being here as well. Thanks for the fast reply, I found 3 statues today (making my total 5) and this would've made me crazy for a while. — Unsigned comment by 184.61.241.116 (talk) at 19:23 on 15 May 2018
