Fortify Intelligence Vs. Fortify Magicka[edit]

Would I have more total magicka if I used a Trancendent Sigil Stone to fortify magicka 50 points or fortify intelligence 12 points? I'm trying to maximize the amount of magicka I can have so I can cast higher level spells.

+12 Intelligence = +24 Magicka

+50 Magicka = +50 Magicka 24.108.161.152 23:36, 10 March 2008 (EDT)

Fortify endurance and permanent HP gains[edit]

If I'm ready to gain a level, and I cast a high magnitude fortify Endurance, will I permanently gain 10% of that as HP? — Unsigned comment by 32.156.243.176 (talk)

No, you'll gain a level, then keep the fortify Endurance effect as long as it normally lasts, then your HP will go back to what it should be after the gained level. - Game LordTalk|Contribs 06:47, 31 August 2008 (EDT)

Enchanting[edit]

Is Fortify Attribute enchantable? --Helper Unknown 20:32, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Yes, look here. Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs,E-mail) 20:42, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Bad Link[edit]

Fortify attribute typed into the search box still defaults to Morrowind's version.--65.184.187.242 05:37, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

That depends on what page you're on when you hit enter/click go. For instance, if you're on the Main Page, it gives you the search results that list both Oblivion:Fortify Attribute and Morrowind:Fortify Attribute; if you're on Oblivion:Oblivion, it gives you Oblivion:Fortify Attribute; and if you're on Morrowind:Morrowind, it gives you Morrowind:Fortify Attribute. --GKtalk2me 03:16, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Ashen Remains[edit]

On the Fortify Attribute page it says Ashen Remains fortifies Endurance. On the Ashen Remains page it says it fortifies fatigue. — Unsigned comment by 129.6.67.152 (talk) on 3 September 2010

Good spot. I've fixed it. rpeh •TCE 16:47, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Horses[edit]

I'm wondering: are Horses affected by drinking speed potions? Nikofeelan 22:16, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Horses can't drink potions... --AKB Talk 22:41, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Shadowmere does, and I've made potions specifically for Shadowmere!! (xbox 360 goty, no mods) Ahriman 20:35, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Merchant Locations[edit]

Which merchants sell fortify attribute spells, and where? Argonian8 12:27PM May, 17/2011

Luck doesn't affect other attributes[edit]

I'm pretty sure the claim "luck affects other attributes" is false. The article mentions +5 luck = +2 attributes bonus, but this is probably supposed to be +2 skills. If I'm wrong, then the luck page requires some drastic changes. Kogan 06:58, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

drinking fortify intelligence potion[edit]

does drinking fortify intelligence potion can rise the magnitude of the new potion made when your intelligence exceed 100? — Unsigned comment by 174.95.29.196 (talk) at 09:21 on 3 July 2013

Fortified over 265[edit]

I fortified my Intelligence to 265 with equipment and such, and it was fine, but upon completion of the KOTN questline, I chose Julianos' Blessing to further boost it. My Intelligence became 4, but the number was still lit in green on the summary screen. I reloaded and tried this with all other attributes (except Luck) and blessings with the same result. It goes away when I swap blessings, and doesn't seemed to be limited to just hat, other fortifications do this as well. Like the Manipulate Weather boost from SI and all spells that boost attributes. So is this a bug, or a limitation in the game engine, what? If it helps, I'm a 360 user (so no mods), but I do have all the DLC except the Horse Armor. Ranyroo (talk) 20:19, 28 October 2014 (GMT)
