Caminalda's Key[edit]

Just out of curiosity, what does this do? I looted it off of her corpse after killing her for my Anvil Recommendation, but have found no mention of a house or chest of hers or anything. Audeuro 19:50, 27 October 2007 (EDT)

The key opens her chest in her room back at the Brina Cross Inn. The chest contains a leveled secondary reward for killing Caminalda (I think it was gold, but I'm not sure), but only if you remember to retrieve it. You do need the key to open it, as it is locked with an unpickable lock. Vesna 21:45, 27 October 2007 (EDT)

Temporary Invulnerability[edit]

I swear that this wasn't my imagination. A couple of times I did the quest, for a while after she attacked, I couldn't cause her any damage. I would hit her with a sword or bow or spell, and her health bar did not even show up. I just now played again and used my Dremora Great Power (Fire Damage 20 pts for 10 sec on Touch). For a couple seconds there was nothing. Then the flames started and she died very quickly. It wasn't a stutter becasue there was other stuff still going on fine. --DKong27 Talk Cont 03:15, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

I have the same issue basicly every time i do this quest, but i have yet to notice it at any other NPC, playing on 360 i am. KrazorM 18:50, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
I hate hammering on like this, but is there someone who could explain this problem, please? Razor 14:05, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Temporary invulnerability.[edit]

I'm sure Caminalda has to be attacked by both Roliand and Arielle in order to take damage. — Unsigned comment by (talk) at 22:57 on 6 May 2011

Where did you get that idea from? They were never necessary during my own experiences with the quest. Legoless 22:12, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Just did it, killed her before she talked to me to join Dark Brotherhood.--Catmaniac66 22:18, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
As i said in the above post, she didn't seem to take any damage for a few seconds. I looked and there wasn't anything in the scripts...I did find something a bit interesting though. I was hacking away and she didn't seem to take damage. I used getav health to check her health, and for some reason her health bar did not appear until she was at about half health, at which point it appeared as full health and decreased from there. I would say it could be my health bar mod, but that isn't an .esp file, rather it simply replaces the health bar images in the game files. TESNexus --DKong27 Talk Cont 02:48, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Bug Regarding Speech[edit]

In regards to the line beginning, "Hello there! I must say, I'm quite surprised to see anyone else here," is this really unused dialogue? I'm pretty sure it came out naturally while I was playing the game on a PS3, but I might be misremembering the exact wording. — Unsigned comment by ‎ (talk) at 04:12 on 13 June 2013

After listening to the audio link on the page, I thought it sounded familiar too and went and tried it out in-game. However, no matter what stage of the quest I was at (or even not having the quest at all), she would not say that line of dialogue. Since there's an UOP fix for it, I'm inclined to believe that the dialogue cannot be heard without having said patch installed. Forfeit (talk) 20:05, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
