Harm's Folly

Harm's Folly is a farm between Bruma and Cheydinhal (quest-related).

The farm is inhabited by the widowed farmer Corrick Northwode, who will ask you to avenge his wife Kayleen's death in the quest starting here. It consists of the farmhouse, a garden (including 42 carrot plants, 12 leek plants, 6 potato plants, and 11 tomato plants), and the grave of Corrick's deceased wife.

The interior of the farmhouse has apparently fallen into disarray after the death of Corrick's wife; smashed barrels, furniture turned upside down, and empty crates and chests are scattered everywhere, and the only organized spot is a well-provided dinner table in the southwestern corner where Corrick eats his crop by himself. The table seats two and holds six carrots, five leeks, and three tomatoes. Above the nearby lit fireplace hangs a painting of Anvil, and the cupboard in the northwestern corner contains a few additional pieces of food. Along the northern wall, amidst lots of trash, sits the only intact chest containing minor loot, a cupboard containing clutter, and a barrel holding gardening tools. The basket on the nearby table holds three harvested samples of arrowroot, and the adjacent set of drawers near the empty fireplace contains only clutter, as does the set of drawers at the foot of the double bed in the southeastern corner.

After you complete the related quest, you can "pay your respects" to Kayleen by activating her tombstone. You will receive the blessing Kayleen's Grace (Fortify Health 30 points, Fortify Fatigue 30 points, 600 second duration). You can revisit her tombstone as often as you like to receive this blessing.

  • The music played inside the farmhouse is the outdoor "default" type instead of "public", the norm for indoor areas.
