Morrowind talk:Miscellaneous Quests

Rather than delete this page, it might make sense to have it be a place where all non-faction quests are listed by location. Or maybe just those quests that take place outside of cities. These quests are listed elsewhere, of course, but it can't hurt to have them in multiple places. --TheRealLurlock Talk 10:59, 1 March 2007 (EST)

Whoa, it redirects to the Proplyon (sp?) Indices quest...really, I think it'd be better to make something of this page, and yes, non-factions quests would be goodly here. Somercy 11:09, 1 March 2007 (EST)
I just added all the wilderness quests I could find. I know there's more, but I didn't see them in the Category pages. The escort of the woman to the shrine near the lake, the two quests involving recovering stolen Guar Hides in the Grazelands, an escaped slave in the Molag Amur region that needs an escort back to Ebonheart, A woman near Caldera whose jewels were stolen by thieves, these are just what I remember off-hand. --TheRealLurlock Talk 11:28, 1 March 2007 (EST)
Some of those are listed as town quests. The woman with jewels in Caldera is Aeta Wave-Breaker, if I recall.
I always end up just killing her...Somercy 11:34, 1 March 2007 (EST)
Yeah, they're listed as town quests, but I don't think they should be. In most cases, somebody just chose the nearest town and associated the quest with it, even if you never go into town to do it. That's because at the time, there wasn't a category for quests outside of towns. In Oblivion, there's no need for this, because every quest, no matter how small, starts in a town of some sort. But in Morrowind, there's quite a few quests that take place entirely in the wilderness, so I think categories for this should be added. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:13, 1 March 2007 (EST)
Totally agreed. Someone ought to move them all to here. Somercy 15:28, 1 March 2007 (EST)
I agree, it's a better solution than deleting the page. The wilderness quests are all under some town due to historical reasons, i.e. they were sorted that way in the old website. I can help moving all these quests, but I'm not very fast. --DrPhoton 03:24, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Umbra[edit]

Should Umbra really be listed as a misc. wilderness quest? I mean, you CAN find him in the wilderness on your own, but the "right" way to do it, the earliest stage you can get in your quest journal, starts from getting it in Suran from the bartender. — Unsigned comment by 174.61.251.163 (talk) on 28 June 2014 (GMT)
