Spells[edit]

This page needs more information of the spells like Frenzy, Recall and Mark.I also would like to see steps to make these spells to work.--ShakenMike 12:00, 19 February 2007 (EST)

Your skills are probably too low, which is why your spell-casting is failing. In order to cast spells reliably, you need to have skill in the relevant magic school, in this case Illusion. (For Mark and Recall, you need Mysticism.) You should practice these skills by repeated casting of spells in the schools. You might want to look for easier spells to cast at first so that you can cast them over and over again without needing to replenish your magicka constantly. Generally, the higher the magicka cost of a spell, the more skill you need to cast it. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:20, 19 February 2007 (EST)
Ok thanks for the advice and I'll check if have those skills either the minor or major skills section.--ShakenMike 18:24, 19 February 2007 (EST)

Fight[edit]

Does the Frenzy magnitude get added to the Fight number of the NPC, or is there a different way it affects their inclination to fight? So if most NPCs start with a base Fight of 30, then you would need a magnitude of 50 if they hate you (Disposition of 40 or less) or even higher if they like you? -- --Mebestien 15:15, 1 October 2008 (EDT)

It adds to the NPC's Fight, this was wrongly stated in the article to be Aggression. This is now fixed. The answer to your question is partly yes. They will attack if you get too close as well. --Timenn < talk > 08:30, 3 October 2008 (EDT)

spell duration[edit]

it may be worth noting that duration doesn't matter, and that a 50 effect/damage with a 1 duration, should be enough to cause most npcs to fight you, and is quite cheap — Unsigned comment by 125.168.2.59 (talk) at 04:36 on 9 December 2009‎

Source on frenzied creature attacking other npcs?[edit]

Just did some rudimentary testing with frenzy creature;

Put a custom ascended sleeper with 0 fight in seyda neen, cast frenzy 100 on it with 100% chameleon so that it wouldnt engage me, it didnt aggro anyone or vice versa. Even made sure the frenzy was applied by checking console.

Did the same thing without chameleon, the sleeper started a fight with me right away.

as far as I can tell, NPCs etc. will only fight each other if a) scripted to do so, b) guards fighting against creatures attacking PC c)followers fighting whatever PC's fighting

tl;dr Frenzy Creature is completely pointless unless I'm missing something
