Selling at base value is possible[edit]

In fact, I can sell items for more than their base value. Could this be due to the Morrowind Code Patch I installed? I heard there's a bug that causes Mercantile to be useless but the Morrowind Code Patch fixes this. Ongoingwhy 18:59, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Guild Guide prices[edit]

As noted on the Transport page, Guild Guide prices appear to be affected by the person's disposition towards you, but in actuality the gold they charge is fixed at 10 gold no matter what it shows when selecting a destination, or at least it works that way on the Xbox GOTYE for me. --Dragos Drakkar (talk) 21:12, 10 August 2016 (UTC)

Selling Gold[edit]

I noticed that selling a merchant Gold is a good way to raise their disposition quickly, since they pay you one gold for one gold means you do not lose any gold or inventory doing so. But I also noticed that this reduces the merchant's available gold, so the hint on selling them gold to raise their gold does not work and actually lowers it, so I am removing the hint from the page. Also, I am only seeing Traders buying gold, not all of them as the hint said. -Brf (talk) 19:23, 12 April 2024 (UTC)

Also removing the note saying their gold resets after a week. The first sentence says it is 24 hours, but it is actually a fixed time each day. --Brf (talk) 19:42, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
