I was reading the rank requirements and to be an Ancient in the clan you have to have a skill a 110. Is that even possible?-Lord Sheogorath

Since it is practically the same leveling system as the one of Oblivion, then I'm guessing that no. They probably just placed that level requirement because you actually never reach that rank, though I could be wrong since I have never played this fantastic game called Morrowind :( --MC S'drassa T2M 02:56, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh...do you know what ranks you can advance to in a clan? And you really should get Morrowind, in my opinion it's even better than Oblivion if you can get past the graphics(which aren't really that bad.)-Lord Sheogorath
When i was playing the game on the XBox (So i have no CS to check this) I went for the Berne clan, and I only got 2 ranks after doing every quest (there are 2). I think the game designers added in 2 safety mechanisms so that no one could get to that rank (both not enough quests to do it and impossible skill levels) and so that Raxle Berne could be it.
P.S. I have played both Oblivion and Morrowind, and i was severely disappointed by Oblivion. it was at least 10 times shorter (though I have both expansions for Morrowind) than Morrowind, and it seemed that they had removed all my favourite parts of Morrowind and made it far easier. I would advise Morrowind to anyone who liked Oblivion (but I can't agree with you) and is willing to give it a good hour or two's play before judging it.--BLBE 20:32, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
I've looked through the dialogue in the CS and I don't see anything that would indicate that you get any ranks in your vampire clan. The vampire scripts don't give you any rank, and neither does any dialogue with the three Ancients. -Meisterdieb 18:11, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
well I was playing the game and it did tell me I was in the faction and that I had the rank, though I do have the xbox GotY edition, so it is possible that they are different.BLBE 01:16, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
You don't get added to the faction in GotY either. The faction and ranks are only for the other vampires, not you. The game checks to see if you're a vampire by looking for the extra abilities you get (eg, "Vampire Aundae Specials"). rpeh •TCE 06:46, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
