Not responding to ResetActors command

Poor Ano has wandered off the dock. He's alive, treading water, and will still take me for trips on his boat if I swim over to him and ask, but I can't reset his position. (The command is working on other NPCs.) Help! — Unsigned comment by 74.78.186.213 (talk) at 03:27 on 21 March 2017‎

Possibly the most notorious NPCs in the the game, known for his constantly inconstant mortality rate, lol. I assume this was posted years ago, but I just stumbled upon your request for help in my search to respawn him somehow. But I will provide a solution for posterity anyway. Here is a working fix I found to resurrect poor ol' ill-fated Ano:

placeatpc "ano andaram" 1 64 0
