script[edit]

In the editor there's a script attached to Anhaedra that supposed to stop people from helping you if you kill him. Looked at the dialogue of the people there and killed Anhaedra, but it's obviously not doing anything... Just an unused leftover? -Meisterdieb 20:55, 25 January 2009 (EST)

Soul Trapping Anhaedra[edit]

I don't know what rule this breaks, but it was reported as a crime and I was ejected from the Temple. I didn't try any other spells on him.--Downstrike (talk) 08:00, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Tested on vanilla MW GOTY, cast soultrap on him and was not expelled from the Temple. Was anyone else affected? Soultrap counts as an assault if it hits NPCs. Otherwise, did you have any mods enabled at the time? Salamangkero (talk) 18:06, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
That's what I thought, because I had soul trapped him in past playings of the game. I had then installed from a copy that included numerous fixes. I forget what that collective set of fixes was called, but the Soultrap glitch no longer worked. Now I'm playing the same installation, but with an OEM disk because I lost the disk in a fire, that I installed from. I suppose that an incompatibility between the 2 could cause this, but I don't know.
I don't remember hearing of anyone else soultrapping him... Oh, you mean were NPCs affected. I don't see how, because there's no area affect on the spell. Wait, that makes me wonder whether the target could Reflect the spell onto an NPC? That would explain a couple other weird things that happened.--Downstrike (talk) 02:34, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
