This count includes unobtainable and untrained cards and cards that change during play.

Guard is a keyword found on Creatures and Items in the Elder Scrolls Legends that first appeared in the Core Set. Enemy Creatures with Guard must be attacked and destroyed before Creatures in the same lane can attack the opponent's health.
This means that you can deny the opponent to break your Runes or trigger their Pilfer effects by summoning Guards in the same lane. However, they can still summon or move Creatures to the other lane. Guard Creatures work well with Regenerate for more survivability, Prophecy for a surprise defense and Last Gasp for Guards need to be removed to make the lane free for attack and thus triggering the effect. Guard can be found in all Attributes. Creatures with the keyword can be recognized by their gold border around the card.
