Possibly related to another quest.[edit]

I've noticed that the books page says that she also authored the journal found in Fort Frostmoth. Is this enough to argue that she's connected to that quest as well? I think this point is discussed on the March of the Dead quest page, but it isn't on her page.--Playerseekingbugs (talk) 20:52, 7 April 2013 (GMT)

It is likely that she is, but besides the name, there isn't really much evidence. Jeancey (talk) 20:13, 10 April 2013 (GMT)

Also knows candlelight[edit]

She casts candlelight as well even if it doesnt directly affect the player.--82.46.168.98 22:48, 5 May 2013 (GMT)

Unlike quite the pages of a few other NPCs Ildoria Sarothril's page is still only a stub, so feel free to add. I guess as some of the more competent contributors get time to check out the code, a more extensive list will be added later. But are you sure the spell you observed was candlelight and not a ward spell? The ward spells also light up a bit, but in front of the NPC, not above their heads. —MortenOSlash (talk) 04:59, 6 May 2013 (GMT)
Definitely candlelight, it was a ball above her head and she had yet to engage me in combat.--82.46.168.98 22:56, 17 May 2013 (GMT)

Recent Edit[edit]

I recently added a note stating that her robes are actually unique, though they don't appear to be when viewed in the inventory. However, it's been removed. Why? Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to whine and say it should be re-added. However, I am curious about why it was removed. Swk3000 (talk) 23:43, 24 May 2013 (GMT)

The only other Telvanni robes in the game are worn by Neloth, and are unobtainable, so I don't see how they can be unique. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 23:48, 24 May 2013 (GMT)
Huh. I could have sworn I came across another set somewhere. However, it's been a while since I played Dragonborn; I may just be assuming that because her version has the Heartstone straps, that there's a version without that the player can get. Still, it makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Swk3000 (talk) 00:16, 25 May 2013 (GMT)
I believe the robes obtained from her corpse are identical to Neloth's. The robes she wears when you fight her have been modified to allow for the heart stone.
So if you can obtain a set of the robes Neloth wears then those robes wouldn't be unique, because the player can get them and Neloth wears them. The robes she wears would be, as she wears the only set. 2.24.75.121 03:29, 13 September 2013 (GMT)
A bit late replying to this, but I've just learned that the robes worn by Ildari are odd. On a Male, they look like the Telvanni Robes worn by Neloth. However, on a female, the robes have the straps and bloodstains you see when she wears them. To me, this indicates that the robes were supposed to be marked unplayable, but the appropriate box never got checked. Swk3000 (talk) 08:46, 8 November 2013 (GMT)
