Infoboxes[edit]

This case is like Azura. We have an NPC record with that name, but it is not the NPC the player interacts with. The player interacts with a "talking activator" that uses the NPC in some way (probably to store dialogue). A bit like this are the NPCs called Planter and Fish Hatchery, which are internally used for the give present interface. In the latter case we avoided NPC infoboxes so far. I think we should do that for the daedric princes too, we can document the rechnical NPC records that exist at pages like Unused NPCs - the player can see the real NPC only with the use of console commands. All the values in those infobox are meaningless for normal gameplay. UESPWiki:Style_Guide makes a point of internal statistics being useful, because "they control the events that occur while playing". My point is, in those cases above this is not the case, the information is in no way useful and just distracting. --Alfwyn (talk) 18:35, 10 December 2012 (GMT)

I entirely agree. As we can see from a recent edit, other users are expecting information that makes logical sense, rather than just unusual game data. The NPC Summary in this situation is misleading, and I fully support listing it on an Unused NPCs page. • JAT 19:11, 10 December 2012 (GMT)

Champions[edit]

Is there a connection between Miraak's (who is a champion of Herma mora) role on Solstheim and Septimus who is trying to find the Heart in the Dwemer box? Mabe not, but there seems to be a pattern of Herma mora wanting to replace his champions and connections to morrowinds.— Unsigned comment by Winch1990 (talkcontribs) at 20:08 on 11 December 2012

dialogue[edit]

is there special dialogue with mora if you complete dragonborn and then do transcerning the transmundane?50.142.207.159 16:14, 27 December 2012 (GMT)

I don't know if he has new dialogue for that quest, but he uses his new appearance, and he has differing dialogue in Dragonborn depending on if you completed that quest. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 04:07, 9 January 2013 (GMT)
If you completed the Transmundane quest, Mora will acknowledge you as his champion. If you have not yet, the Wretched Abyss will look like Mora's true appearance of tentacles an eyes. --74.45.47.27 04:49, 14 February 2013 (GMT)

Is "Xarses" really an error?[edit]

The use of "Xarses" is tagged sic with a correct spelling of Xarxes. Is this really an error, or just a lore oddity where two individuals have very similar but separate names and stories? Arena and Daggerfall Chronicles also attributed the book to Xarses (two s). To make this even more confusing the only mention of Xarxes (with an x) before ESO (Read: When Skyrim was released) I can find was the dialog when turning in Mora's quest in Oblivion. --Agiletek (talk) 08:45, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
