Locked door in his basement?[edit]

There is a locked door in his basement that is only open-able with a key (not his house key, I checked). Anyone have any idea what it's for, or what's behind it? Jeancey (talk) 01:08, 6 December 2012 (GMT)

Now explained on this page and his house page. — ABCface 00:33, 16 December 2012 (GMT)
Glover's entire house respawns periodically, allowing multiple copies of his special armor found in his basement after you return his bonemold recipe to him. Additionally, you can trade multiple copies of Glover's letter to Sapphire for multiple exquisite sapphires worth 5000 each.— Unsigned comment by 173.20.234.211 (talk) at 01:39 on 16 February 2013 (GMT)

Stolen goods[edit]

(PS3 user) Although the "notes" section says Glover Mallory won't buy stolen goods, that isn't necessarily true. My character just sold him a stolen Glass Bow of the Stag Prince. Maybe because of the Speech skill "fence" perk? MrC (talk) 01:34, 6 February 2014 (GMT)

Not just likely, but exactly why, and as such not noteworthy on any merchant. —MortenOSlash (talk) 19:56, 11 February 2014 (GMT)
Not noteworthy except that perk is only supposed to work with merchants who are invested in, and he wasn't one of them. MrC (talk) 01:04, 13 February 2014 (GMT)
I'm on my phone so I can't link the conversation, but I think this has been reported before on the speech talk page and can happen with any merchant. --AN|L (talk) 23:02, 12 February 2014 (EST)
This is the conversation. It would appear to be a bug, but yes it is possible. --Nocte|Chat|Look 04:23, 13 February 2014 (GMT)
Another oddity is that, while I could sell the stolen bow to Mallory, the stolen tag wasn't removed. In that respect, the item wasn't really "fenced" at all. MrC (talk) 16:24, 13 February 2014 (GMT)

Location of the shadowmark?[edit]

Maybe I'm just unobservant, but I can't seem to see it anywhere... although I can ask him about it, and start the related quest, just fine. 203.206.100.132 07:06, 27 May 2014 (GMT)

Oh nevermind - there it is, to the left of the door into his house. Guess I missed it before... 203.206.100.132 07:52, 27 May 2014 (GMT)
