Needs clear directions to the Geodes and Deposits.
For more information, see the help files, the style guide, and this article's talk page.
Geodes are smaller than typical ore deposits. They will be exhausted in just 3 strikes of your pickaxe instead of the usual 9. They will always produce one gem of the given type, with a 10% chance of an additional "flawless" gem of the same type.
There is only 1 Amethyst Geode that can be found in Solstheim. When mined you will get an Amethyst and sometimes a Flawless Amethyst.
There are 6 Emerald Geodes that can be found in Solstheim. When mined you will get an Emerald and sometimes a Flawless Emerald.
There are 19 Ruby Geodes that can be found in Solstheim. When mined you will get a Ruby and sometimes a Flawless Ruby.
There are 12 Sapphire Geodes that can be found in Solstheim. When mined you will get a Sapphire and sometimes a Flawless Sapphire.
Heart Stone Deposit
There are 28 Heart Stone Deposits that can be found in Solstheim. When mined you will get three Heart Stones from each deposit. Note that like other ores, heart stone deposits can be re-mined after the passage of some time, but they may fail to regain their characteristic black and red texture and appear to be plain stone. Place the cursor over them and the message will indicate if re-mining is possible.
There are 19 Stalhrim Deposits that can be found in Solstheim. They can only be mined using an Ancient Nordic Pickaxe. You will get three Stalhrim from each deposit in addition to a 10% chance of being accompanied by a random, level-dependent gem. Stalhrim deposits take twice as long to mine as standard ore deposits, requiring 18 strikes over the usual 9. In addition to the Stalhrim, after being exhausted, most deposits will uncover a dead draugr, from which you can loot gold and other valuables.
