Base Attributes?[edit]

Does anybody know where I can get the base attributes(Str, int, wil ect) of each of these classes? — Unsigned comment by 24.38.235.96 (talk) at 01:38 on 17 September 2012‎

after some testing(nord male, kept rerolling to find lowest stat I get for spellsword I seem to have that class at around
str 60(50)
int 50(60)
wil 55(65)
agi 50(60)
end 50(40)
per 40
spd 45
luc 50
(lowest numbers i got after like 50 clicks of the button, would need more than I'd like to do to actually get the right numbers(have exactly 10 extra after I adjust for nord male race bonuses so thats weird) — Unsigned comment by 24.38.235.96 (talk) at 02:24 on 17 September 2012‎

class quiz 3 thief 1 wizard 6 warrior = ranger 2 2 6 ranger 0 4 6 barbarian 4 0 6 ranger 1 3 6 bararian 3 1 6 ranger 4 1 5 ranger 2 4 4 battlemage 2 3 5 archer 1 2 7 barbarian 1 1 8 knight 0 5 5 monk 0 2 8 warrior order doesn't seem to matter, or i just happened to hit combinations that gave same result on the few I checked

To find the base attributes of the various classes, directly examine the CLASSxx.CFG files. You can use the DAGCLASS app to do this. -- DelphiSnake (talk) 13:40, 27 September 2012 (GMT)

Article Name[edit]

Question. Arena, Morrowind, Oblivion AND Online have their built-in class sections titled Classes. Is there a reason Daggerfall's is called Intrinsic Classes? It makes searching problematic when one types <GameName>:Classes in the search for all those games. Noobishlord (talk) 12:52, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

This wording was already used back in 2008 when the rudimentary framwwork of the Daggerfal namespace has been created. Maybe it was taken from the original UESP or the Daggerfall Guide (I can't find it a the moment to look it up), I don't know for sure. Beside this, there is no other reason why the wording "Intrinsic Classes" is used. Apparently nobody has had a problem with this, until now.--PLRDLF (talk) 00:41, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
It's probably old style, carried over. I don't see any reason to not move it to Daggerfall:Classes, although considering page age, a redirect should be kept. Any objections? --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:58, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
Would it be easier to just have the Daggerfall:Classes search re-direct to the current page?Noobishlord (talk) 02:07, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
There doesn't seem to be any mention of the word "intrinsic" in the game, the manual, or The Daggerfall Chronicles, so it's likely a legacy from the old site or something. However, given that a search for classes returns seventy-nine other hits before this page, I think a name change is probably for the best. I'd still keep this page as a redirect since it's been around so long. Though if there are any current objections, these should be addressed before making a final decision. Skill xp[edit]

Are these the real numbers for leveling/skill xp? The thief is loaded with disadvantages and gets fewer hp than the warrior, but the warrior levels significantly faster?? — Unsigned comment by 74.56.24.157 (talk) at 07:20 on 23 January 2023 (UTC)
