MaleForsworn[edit]

There is a voicetype called MaleForsworn, why is it not on page? Dragon Guard (talk) 07:08, 11 July 2013 (GMT)

The categories were set up after a bot entered voicetype information for individual NPC pages in the {{NPC Summary}} boxes. If only generic NPCs have a certain voicetype (for instance, Forsworn) they weren't entered because they don't use the NPC Summary template. — ABCface 07:11, 11 July 2013 (GMT)
So basically it is just becuase the MaleForsworn voicetype are just for generic Forsworn enemies, also, no Forsworn that have that voicetype have individual pages. Dragon Guard (talk) 19:08, 11 July 2013 (GMT)
Yes, only voicetypes for NPCs with individual pages are in this category at this time. Categories would have to be added manually on more general pages for which voicetype categories are applicable. In additon, as reminded before, please use colons ( : ) to indent talk page messages. Use one more colon than the post above yours. Thanks. — ABCface 19:31, 11 July 2013 (GMT)

Looks like it's chopping off the first 22 characters of each category name. — Will • B[talk] 03:55, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Never mind, Robin Hood fixed it! Although now a couple redlink "MetaTemplate" categories are showing up at the bottom. — Will • B[talk] 18:23, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
Oh, wow, never mind, Robin just created those category pages literal seconds after I wrote that. Weird timing. — Will • B[talk] 18:26, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
Sorry about all that. The cut off text was due to a significant change to how <catpagetemplate> works under MetaTemplate 2 which I had meant to follow up on and forgot. To the best of my knowledge, I've now updated all of these, but if you see anything else that's messed up, let me know and I'll have a look.
As for the new categories, those were due to an update last night. I had actually meant to add category pages (and hence the hidden category tag) for them earlier this morning but got distracted. So, the fact that I hid those categories only seconds after you wrote your message really was a coincidence on that front, too. If things had gone as planned, you never would've had the chance to ask about them. ;) Robin Hood(talk) 19:30, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
