Bloodmoon talk:The Skaal Test of Wisdom

After you have found the letter and confronted Risi about it, if you speak to Rigmor Halfhand about 'investigate the crime' he will know that you know and will decide to follow you to Heart-Fang to receive his punishment with dignity. Once you leave the great hall, he will walk to the wolves on his own. Not much, really, but him becoming a follower might open up some new possibilities. Still, it's interesting that despite his treachery he still goes so honorably to his death. Jihiro 00:18, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Just killing Rigmor[edit]

I am surprised at the lack of mention of what happens if you just kill Rigmor — Unsigned comment by 86.143.71.217 (talk) on 29 August 2011

That's not a very helpful comment. How about describing what happens? rpeh •TCE 09:07, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Killing him, both before and after giving a verdict, results in the normal crime and bounty for assault/murder. Wasn't really worth all that re-load time ^_^; Jihiro (talk) 09:34, 18 September 2013 (GMT)

The Skaal Test of Wisdom decide rigmor's verdict sacrifice to the wolves or exile[edit]

when i had the option of exiling him or sacrificing him to the wolves i went to the command console and typed "goodbye" because i didn't want to decide yet, BUT when i went back to decide his fate when i was ready, when i click on the investigate a crime topic he just says that i should decide his fate by sacrificing him to the wolves or exile. he doesn't even give me the red words exile or sacrifice to the wolves to click on TO DECIDE HIS FATE. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Can anyone tell me what command to type in to the command console to try to decide his fate? cause i already saved and i do not want to start a new game because of this

Try typing Journal BM_Trial 50 and then ask Rigmor about "Investigate a crime". That should get you back on track. --TheRealLurlock Talk 04:33, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Choosing exile[edit]

I couldn't find anything in the article telling what happens if you choose to exile Rigmor, so I tried doing just that. And he just stands there in the hall, not moving an inch, and the only dialogue I get from him is "I have nothing to say. My time is done." and a goodbye. I tried leaving and re-entering the cell, nothing. I tried going to Vivec, wait a week there and return, he's still in the same place. So either "exile" is Nord for "staying with the leader for the rest of your life" or there's something missing. 89.20.230.193 11:36, 19 October 2013 (GMT)

I can confirm this based on my gameplay experience as well as checking with CS. His script (rigmorScript) mentions running the "exile portion of script" in a comment, but the developers seem to have forgotten to actually implement that part. I've updated the article. --Roger (talk) 04:57, 22 January 2014 (GMT)

Caenlorn Wolf Soul Gem Bug?[edit]

I killed the three wolves and two of them went into Common Soul Gems as the wiki states, but one of them filled a Lesser Soul Gem :(. I don't plan on using the soul gems for anything, just like to collect them, so it doesn't really matter to me. Just wondering if anyone else had had the same experience and if this should be added as a Bug to the wiki page. (For collectors such as myself, this actually makes the soul gem more (in)valuable since it actually becomes quite unique, so maybe it should be added to the Unique Items page as well? Keneticmotion (talk) 10:24, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

It's not a bug. I checked in the Construction Set and found that while BM_wolf_caenlorn1 and BM_wolf_caenlorn2 have a soul size of 100 each (Common), the third Caenlorn Wolf, BM_wolf_caenlorn3, only has a soul size of 50 (Lesser) for some reason. I have corrected and updated the Caenlorn Wolf entry on the Creatures page to reflect this. Thanks for spotting it and bringing it to our attention! — Wolfborn(Howl) 04:05, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
