Fortress of the Savage Throne
Beyond the portal looms a dark fortress filled with savage enemies. Beware, as only poison damage can weaken these foes, and their attacks consist of pure shock energy. A poison weapon and shock-resistant armor will help find the path to victory.

Objectives[edit]

  1. Defeat the troll.

Walkthrough[edit]

Before you begin, be aware that enemies within will be immune to all but poison damage. It may also be advisable to bolster shock resistance.

The quest begins at the top of a stairway. Food items may spawn on the landing, and again at the bottom. Turning left and then right takes you to a corridor, in which food and small breakables may spawn. It opens into a room patrolled by an Ogre. Food may spawn on the table or around its perimeter. Forward and to the left is a corridor opening onto descending stairs. A small breakable may spawn to the left. A potential danger is an Ogre patrolling at the bottom of the stairs; it may surprise when running up the stairs to attack. Food may spawn at the bottom of the stairs.

Turn right into a corridor potentially containing food and breakables, which turns left and right into a room patrolled by two ogres. Again, the enemies can surprise; be prepared for them to simultaneously round the corner. Otherwise, head rightwards to a weapon rack trigger on the wall of the room. It will open a secret area behind you. The secret area turns left to ascending stairs, patrolled by an Ogre. Continue along the corridor and turn right to face an optional Dremora Warlock boss.
