Not sure how many of y'all played this, I did a search and didnt see much of a discussion on it... I have to say this game surprised me.. Sure the graphics get a C the characters get a D the acting gets a F... That being said the game play is a solid B, combat is decent, story is nice, could be better if the npcs were more believable.. The intro was kinda awesome minus the poor acting and low npc physics.. But where this game shines is the crafting, and I give it a solid A.. Everything is simple, alchemy, black smithing, fusion, and spell crafting.. If you are bored and need something to hold you over til next gen then I recommend this game as long as you go into it with low expectations.. It's a step down from oblivion but has a ton of stuff that oblivion didnt have.. I'm only 5 hours in so I'm nowhere near the peek of crafting since its all leveled and you have to find books to level up certain skills but they aren't hard to find and some are quest rewards.. I'm looking forward to combining spells to make something crazy... Archery is so so but sneaking is a big part with kill cam backstabs... Pick it up if your bored, it is way better than the first game of the series, I have to say the devs really up'ed their game on this one..

Overall grade B-

Don't be so quick to dismiss it, I thought the acting in oblivion was terrible and the npcs were less than convincing... The graphics are on par with oblivion crept oblivion had better shading, oblivion was the best game I ever played, ever... This game is a cheap knock off but with some interesting concepts added..it's well with 10-20$ and packed with hours of stories..

Pretty sure this was the slightly-less-horrific sequel to a horrific first game.

Have you played it, I'm level 22 pure Mage and I'm still having fun, about to finish chapter 1.. The whole spell creation process is what makes this game and the crafting isn't bad either...

I played the first one, and it was alright. Maybe I will try out the second.

You should.. It's not something you fall in love with but the open world environment and loot system is rival to some of the better games in the same genre.. The combat is a bit arcadish kinda dogma'esk but a little loose.. Magic has a targeting system for missiles but area effect is loose...
